100% Gamay | 74 cases produced

The fruit was fermented carbonically for 21 days in stainless steel, before being pressed and moved to neutral oak barrels for secondary fermentation. The wine was then aged in neutral wood for 10 months before being bottled unfiltered. 100% native yeast, and the only addition was S02.

The fruit comes from a wood lined vineyard in Sonoma Mountain AVA. Farmed organically, this site was a last minute find during harvest '23 that we look forward to continuing to work with!

Bottled unfiltered.

Carbonic Gamay

We love the wines of Beaujolais - This is not Beaujolais. Sonoma county Gamay carries its own unique energy and frequency. Warm days, cool nights, red fruits, wispy tannins. There is a certain verve about this wine that is hard to explain but easy to enjoy.
